OVERVIEW

I worked with over 50 junior high students at Renton Christian School to create this one of a kind art piece titled Journey for their school auction. This three dimensional wall hanging, measuring five by four feet, is made up of paper fish, commonly known as the Christian Ichthus symbol, which students have cut out, written messages on and assembled. The fish were randomly placed by students to all point to the cross which is the primary focal point. Journey reminds us to follow Jesus’ instructions to be fishers of men and that living according to his teachings is a life-long journey for every Christ follower.
