OVERVIEW
I was commissioned by Audi of America to create a 4 foot long papercraft replica of the 2012 Audi A7 for their announcement event of this vehicle and display at the 2011 New York Auto Show. This model consists of 750 unique parts on 285 sheets of paper which I designed and assembled using reference photography and the original A7 blueprints from Germany. The entire papercraft was completed after around 245 hours and very well received by the great folks at Audi.

Wow this is amazing and I feel like I’ve just found my new calling. Now I know this might be a laughable question but what sort of paper do you use , and how do you get all those edges perforated into the paper?
Damn, audi should reward you a real A7 in exchange for such a masterpiece. you’re definitely worth that price.
They gave me a check, which I gladly accepted instead.

You did nice things with the veyron and the a7. The fact that you’re doing other shapes as well proves you’re an artist.
I am thinking of starting a new project: it could be a benz sportscar crafted in paper, the goal should be that nobody wil notice the fact that it’s made out of paper.
